The operation of the machine is very smooth. Since the flywheel provides magnetic resistance, you don’t even need to plug it in to use it. You can turn on the electronic LCD display which runs on 2 AAA batteries. I use it without the display on, and watch TV while I workout. This elliptical makes very little noise. It is light, and can be moved around easily.
You can absolutely get in a good workout on this machine.

There are small wheels on the bottom of this machine, so I can easily lift and move it around.
